Volunteering + Employment
I am an active part of the Unified Special Olympics Club at Minnetonka High School. We enable students with and without disabilities to participate in sports and other activities together. We aim to create an environment that is accepting and inclusive of all, as well as lifelong friendships for all club members. We generally meet once a week and participate in numerous events with schools from around the state, usually hosted by Special Olympics Minnesota.
I am also currently employed as a Kids Soccer Instructor for Lifetime Fitness. I organize, instruct and implement safe, fun and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy.
In the past I was a volunteer assistant coach for Minnesota Thunder Academy Thunderbolts - a program designed to lay a foundation for the love of soccer, self-discovery and independence for players ages 6-8 through game-like activities and play.
